Career Pathways in Arts

As an old student of Archbishop Porter Girls' Senior High School, Tracy engaged the art students in developing their minds to explore the ramifications of art. She broadened their knowledge and admonished them to challenge the status quo using art as a medium.

This formed part of the programming for the 56th Speech and Prize-Giving Family Day, by the Archbishop Porter Girls' Senior High School, after the handing over of a new Visual Arts Block by the United Kingdom (UK) branch of the Archbishop Porter Girls Past Students Associations (APPSA) over the weekend, to their alma mater.

The President, of APPSA UK, Mrs Rita Asamoah, said the building would help facilitate the education of their young ladies in the creative arts in areas of painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, video and filmmaking, designing, crafts and architecture to excel in their chosen future careers.

The theme for the Speech and Prize-Giving Family Day was “Achievement of Excellence amidst the Corona Virus Pandemic: Unlocking the Potential of the Girl-Child”.
